Learn to prepare and cook a selection of fragrant, healthy and beautifully balanced Thai snacks, salads, curries and desserts. This is our original one day Thai cookery course.

Join us on Thai Cook to learn new skills, have fun and walk away with recipes you’ll use time and time again. Discover the numerous Thai ingredients and make curry pastes from scratch. You might also like our Thai Cook 2 course which teaches similar skills but with a different selection of recipes.
The day starts with light refreshments including home-made biscuits. Chef tutor Teruko will guide you through a cookery demonstration, showing you how to make curry paste from scratch and the Lime Creams dessert. You will then go to your workstations and prepare the dishes yourself. Chef Teruko will be on hand to answer your questions and help you develop your skills and techniques.
There will be further short cookery demonstrations of the coconut rice and prawn fritters, teaching you the art of balancing the fragrant flavours and preparing the dishes in the best way. You will then return to your workstations to make them yourself. The cookery school has a large demonstration theatre with overhead mirror and you have your own recipe packs should you wish to take any notes during the demonstrations.
The group will enjoy a sit-down lunch together with complementary hot and cold drinks. You will eat what you have cooked in the morning.
During the afternoon you will make the cucumber salad and grilled pork. A great way to refine your chopping skills and improve your technique cooking with meat. The White Pepper Cook Shop will be open at the end of the day should you wish to purchase any cook books or kitchen utensils. Each student will go home with the finished dishes and recipe packs from the day.
