Food Business Start-up has been created by WhitePepper in Collaboration with Kingston Maurward College and is surprisingly the only food business qualification available to aspiring foodpreneurs in the UK.

This experience provides invaluable insight and sets out the principles of starting and maintaining successful business, including chapters for potential risks, planning, marketing strategies and understanding finance. Underpinned at every stage with an opportunity to review these key principles in the context of your food business and the ideas of the group. These focus groups will help mitigate potential mistakes and crystallise a business plan. This is no small task but an inspirational and satisfying journey with genuine purpose and reward.

You’ll hear from two guest speakers. These talks will help you to make sense of the practical advice learnt, provide encouragement to move your business forward and useful templates and resources to enable smooth running of your business operation.

How to Apply

This qualification runs throughout the year but class sizes are deliberately kept small, so please be vigilant to secure your place well in advance of the course start date. Courses are advertised up to 18 months in advance.
