That’s not all! We have also hosted a 5 Day Patisserie Masterclass, which was a great success!
We welcomed a small group of talented home bakers looking to practice and perfect their craft in order to execute more delicate and complex recipes with confidence at home.
This course is designed to be challenging, with focus towards those who already enjoy baking at an intermediate level.
It gives students the opportunity to work through fine pastry techniques with complete guidance from a former Michelin Star Chef, while also removing the additional stress of the mess that you would otherwise have to deal with yourself at home!
We’ve got this covered and will continuously swipe away anything dirty that might clutter your work space! This allows you to fully focus on your creations whilst here.
Every day will see a new mini recipe with complex stages, and each will require individual creative flair to complete. Crafting a mini masterpiece utilizing your decorative techniques which we will also teach you.
Not just a progression for competent home bakers, this course is also suitable for those aspiring to start up their own baking businesses, as a skill builder and confidence reassurance.
Exciting recipes throughout this course with great flavour balance, technical skill and delicate, impressive aesthetics.
We explore colour with a blackcurrant pastry flavoured with additional apple and liquorice accents.
Pear, walnut and salted caramel Millefeuille tackles a different type of pastry and will test your steady hand with its delicate assembly!
The Raspberry Delice are another celebration of colour and the new addition of our Patisserie Jaffa rounds off the week as a very complex piece with many components including mirror glazing, sponge piping, chocolate pastry, chocolate cigarettes and transfers.
A great week had by all, our recent students felt at home straight away and enjoyed their creativity in our bespoke training kitchen, they were able to completely relax with a glass of wine over lunch in our dining room and explore the surroundings at The Bere Farm Estate.
It was a pleasure to meet and teach you all and we look forward to seeing some of your creations, as well as hopefully your faces again on a follow up course!
