Come and learn lifelong cooking skills in a relaxed, informal learning environment with professional tutors who will nurture your skills. Whether you’re a newbie to cooking or have many years’ experience, we welcome all abilities. We’re more interested in your enthusiasm to cook!

With a dynamic, informative and engaging yet informal teaching style, learning is enhanced with a 75% hands-on experience across all courses. All weighing-up and washing up is completed for you; to increase the skills learnt and practical time for you as a student.

A stunning location

Our location is second to none. Located on a farm in a small village surrounded by fields and lush green countryside, yet only 10 minutes’ drive from Poole, we’re easy to get to, but a world away from the hectic pace of everyday life. The cookery school is situated in a gorgeous courtyard with a cafe next door, and ample free parking. TimeOut London referred to the setting as ‘gorgeous’.

State-of-the-art facilities

The facilities at the cookery school include a demonstration theatre, state-of-the-art Rangemaster ovens and a wide selection of professional kitchen utensils. All courses are taught by a team of tutors that exceed industry standard; and are typically qualified teachers as well as industry professionals. The team are trained to help unlock your potential and quickly develop your skills.  Many of our professional chef tutors specialise in a particular area such as baking, breadmaking, Thai and much more.

Courses to suit everyone

At the school we offer both recreational and professional courses. Our recreational portfolio offers a selection of courses across the year, running on weekdays, evenings and weekends as we know everybody has different schedules. Signature Courses include: Beside the Sea, Bread at Bere Farm, Feathered & Furred, Forage Fungi and French Patisserie. In addition to this, there are over 40 other courses ranging from 2 hours to 4 weeks. Our comprehensive and fashionable portfolio attracts both beginner and intermediate, as well as a professional level.
