A fascinating and practical insight into foraging hedgerows, salt marsh, coastal paths and shorelines.

This experiential course begins with a short journey to our unspoilt and secret foraging ground in the Dorset countryside.  Whether you’re developing new skills or extending your knowledge of foraging, we’ll walk you through our simple identification guide to help you assess which wild foods are safe to eat. This is a method you can use on your own when you are out foraging in the future.

Our expert forager accommodates the complete novice, hobbyist and the rookie forager.  Whether this is a special gift for yourself or a loved one, our aim is to provide an exhilarating experience to expand your skill set, interest and productivity in foraging and the edible landscape.  The shoreline part of the foray is a mecca for those interested in Sea Beet, Sea Blight, Sea Aster, Purslane, Samphire and Scurvy Grass to name but a few.

The course price (£75) includes a 3 hour foray but should you wish to add a true field to fork experience, then you can opt to join us for lunch, watch our wild food cookery demonstration and join the hands-on 2 hour cookery workshop – to cook what you have gathered!  *  This second part of the day runs from 1pm-4pm and costs an additional £75 per person.
