Launched from humble beginnings in 2010 from two disused horticultural buildings, one of which was an old bakery.  Now a leading chef academy with a truly international appeal, attracting approximately 35% of students from overseas.

WhitePepper continues to break new ground – it’s ingenuity and adaptability has made it a driving force within its sector for Culinary Arts education and contributed to the shape and growth of the industry. Country Calling in their review of South West Cookery Schools described WhitePepper as ‘…a new generation cookery school…’

Recent highlights include being voted Britain’s Favourite Small Cookery School in 2015, top 30 UK Cookery School listing by the Independent Cookery School Association in 2016, appointing Michelin Mark as Chef Director from 2017 and claiming The BAPTA Education Award for the Bournemouth/Poole district (+ 50 miles radius) in 2018.

Recreational courses run twice a week and are enduringly popular. Adding to the 5-day course portfolio and new from 2017 is Patisserie Masterclass. Inspired by the burgeoning food trend of patisserie and already attracting professionals and skilled enthusiasts in equal measures!

Professional training consists of a 3-step ladder preparing students for the commercial kitchen, assisting foodpreneurs realise their dreams and/or providing exceptional life skills to those on a Gap Year. All of which are accredited with internationally recognised qualifications in Culinary Arts. Optional extension courses include butchery, business, photography and foraging.
